If you think that the internet has changed your life, think again. The IoT is about to change it all over again! The Internet of Things is slowly but surely changing the way citizens live, travel, and take care of each other. Arduino has been a part of the conversation since early on as an ideal open hardware platform for experimenting with the world of the IoT. Arduino acts as an incredibly flexible microcontroller and development environment that can not only be used to control devices but can also be used to read data from all kinds of sensors.

It is needless to emphasize the importance of knowing your way around this powerful device, which is why we have started with an in-house course. With 20 people and 4 Arduino platforms, our weekly training is officially ON! In the course of 12 weeks, the first group will have the opportunity to learn the basic concepts and features of the Internet of Things, build and discover fundamental concepts of cloud computing, sensor reading and connecting Arduino to the Internet using both wired and wireless interfaces, learn to use open platforms for managing sensor data and trigger actuators remotely, and discover how to reprogram Arduino using cloud services.

There are no technical limitations to what you can do and come up with, especially when you are teamed up with your talented colleagues. This is why the training is not only productive but also incredibly interesting and fun.

IoT is going to make everything in our lives, from streetlights to seaports, “smart”. It is only a question of time before we start helping build that innovative, “smarter” future through new exciting projects we are already hyped about.
